The Extra Mile

Hi everyone,

In my new role as VIP Champion I am working to highlight companies in Bedfordshire and Luton that go “THE EXTRA MILE” in helping blind and visually impaired people and I am looking for your nominations.  Do you know a local shop or company that you feel goes THE EXTRA MILE to help people access their services or is particularly helpful over and above the day job?  We are collecting nominations for the 2017 award now, which need to be with us by the end of February 2017. A judging panel will meet in February  and the very first award winners will be announced in the Spring. To make a nomination, you simply let us know the name, address and contact details of the shop or business, along with a short description of THE EXTRA MILE service that you received.  Send these by email to: georgehogman@sightconcern.org.uk or call me on 01234 264021 and leave a message on my phone.  (Don’t forget to give us your name as well so we can get back in touch).
