Social Clubs
Our social clubs provide a welcoming space for visually impaired individuals to connect, enjoy activities, and build friendships. Below is a list of clubs we run across Luton, Dunstable, and Bedford.
Luton
The Friday Club (Partnered with the Macular Society)
- When: Fortnightly on Fridays, 10:00 am – 11:30am
- Where: St Paul’s Church, Newtown Rd, Luton, LU1 3EB
- Activities: Quizzes, music, trips, and guest speakers.
Family Group
- When: 1st Saturday of every month, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
- Where: St Paul’s Church, Newtown Rd, Luton, LU1 3EB
- Who: For visually impaired children and their parents/carers.
- Activities: Games, arts and crafts, and trips.
Youth Forum
- When: Fortnightly on Wednesdays, 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
- Where: VI Provision at Cardinal Newman High School
- Who: For visually impaired 11- to 16-year-olds.
- Activities: Meet new people, share tech tips, and try new activities.
Dunstable
Socialeyez Lunch Club
- When: Weekly on Tuesdays, 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm
- Where: Grove Corner, 76A High Street North, Dunstable, LU6 1JF
- Activities: Friendship, food, and fun!
- Cost: £2 per week for tea and coffee. Bring your own lunch or purchase it at an additional cost.
Bedford
Sight Concern Coffee Morning
- When: Last Friday of every month, 10:30 am – 12:30 pm
- Where: The Pavilion, Park Avenue, Bedford
- Activities: Drop in for a coffee, chat, and support from our volunteers. No booking required.
