Volunteering

Join Our Volunteer Team at Sight Concern Bedfordshire

Are you looking for a meaningful way to give to your community and make a positive impact on the lives of visually impaired people?

A man and a woman are standing either side of a table that displays Low Vision aids, a Sight Concern roller banner is behind them.. Both volunteers are wearing Sight Concern Bedfordshire t-shirts.

Like most charities, Sight Concern Bedfordshire relies on volunteers to help us deliver services to our clients. Whether you have a skill that you’d like to share with us or simply some spare time and the kindness to help, we’d love to have you on board as a volunteer.

What Can You Do?

Volunteer roles are many and wide ranging so there will always be something to suit you.

If you have IT skills, you can empower visually impaired people by showing them how to access technology.

With just an hour to spare each week, you can befriend a visually impaired person through a weekly telephone call. Combating loneliness and brightening someone’s day.

Join us at our Low Vision Clinics, where your assistance will make a real difference.

Explore our various social groups and find the perfect fit for your interests.

The possibilities truly are endless!
